Gruesome Grounds and a Haunted Hall - All Aboard for Halloween!

Burton Constable Hall is preparing to revel in the supernatural this Halloween as we host our much-loved annual event - and bring back our Halloween Evening Ghost Tours for the first time in years!

Gruesome Grounds

With a Gruesome Grounds ticket you are entitled to access our Petrifying Pumpkin Trail, Creepy Crafts and Spooky Story Telling, plus each pre-booked child ticket comes with a free goodie bag!

As usual, a Grounds ticket means you can explore our other walks & trails and the Stable Block from 10am-5pm, so make a day of it.

There may be additional activities and stalls on the day of your visit but these are likely to require payment.

Date - 24th-30th October
Time - 10am - 5pm (4pm on 30th October)
Parking - Main car park (free). Disabled parking available.
Toilets - Facilities on site.

Children under 18 months go free.
Stables Kitchen will be open 10am-5pm (4pm 30th October) for food & refreshments.

No refunds will be issued unless severe weather conditions threaten the health & safety of our activities, staff, performers and visitors. Refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled for other issues.

Haunted Hall

With a Haunted Hall ticket not only do you get access to all of the Grounds activities (Petrifying Pumpkin Trail, Creepy Crafts, Spooky Story Telling) but also gain entry to the Haunted Hall where you can complete the Wicked Witch Hat Hunt and hear all of the ghoulish Ghost Stories!

However, if you don't want to hear the ghost stories, let a member of our team know and they won't issue you with the sticker which notifies our team.

As usual, a Hall & Grounds ticket means you can explore our other walks & trails and the Stable Block from 10am-5pm.

Evening Halloween Ghost Tours at Burton Constable Hall

You are invited to be part of the ghostly goings on at Burton Constable Hall. This unique and popular event is never quite the same each year and tickets are usually sold out within a few weeks of tickets going on sale!  Tickets must be booked in advance for these tours.

Dress for the occasion and join other guest, some who have not been invited, for a scary but fun evening. For safety reasons, any broomsticks, pumpkins, lanterns etc. will need to be left at the Pumpkin & Broomstick Park at the entrance and collected at the end of your tour.

Date – 31st October
Time – 5:30pm until 7.30pm - please arrive promptly at your chosen time for your tour
Parking - Main car park (free). Disabled parking/drop-off available.
Toilets - Facilities on site.


Stables Kitchen will be open for food & refreshments.

*If you have bought a reduced-price ticket as an Annual Pass holder (or other affiliates) please bring your membership card with you.
On arrival, please have your proof of purchase (paper or digital) ready to present at our Ticket Desk.
