Exciting new workshop – Willow dog workshop Would you love to create your own dog in willow? Now’s your chance. Please contact before booking on to discuss your sculpture requirements to Wendy on wbristow@tiscali.co.uk Lots of fun to be had. No willow weaving experience needed. The workshops are aimed at beginners or those with some experience. The workshop is limited to small numbers so I can give you guidance and support throughout the day to create your willow dog to display in your home. 10-4pm

Come and enjoy weaving your very own cute willow penguin in beautiful, coloured willow. This workshop is suitable for those with some weaving experience. Prior to the workshop, a wire armature will have been carefully constructed so you are ready to weave on the day. 10-4pm

Come and enjoy weaving your very own willow star wreath with lights and decorate with a posy of greenery for your home or garden. These are great fun to weave and were a popular workshop in 2022. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those with some weaving experience. 10-12pm

Over 80 different species of birds have been spotted at Burton Constable, from the smallest British bird, the Goldcrest, to large birds of prey such as Buzzards and Barn Owls
Afternoon tea was created by the Duchess of Bedford in the late 18th century. She invited friends to join her for an afternoon meal of small cakes, bread and butter sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. The practice was so popular that it was quickly adopted by other social hostesses 

The Burton Constable Whale is featured in Herman Melville's famous novel Moby Dick. 

Today the Burton Constable Whale is nicknamed 'Constable Moby'
