Willow Christmas Tree Workshop

Join artist Anthea Firth and learn how to use willow to create a beautiful alternative Christmas Tree.

No needle drop guaranteed! Bring your own ribbons, baubles, lights and beads to decorate the tree which is made from white willow and several other hedgerow materials. 

Location - Brewhouse Tower Meeting Room - South Wing (please park in the main car park where Anthea will meet you to walk you across to the workshop location)

Time: 10.30am - 3.30pm (lunch not provided, the Stables Tea Room will be open from 11am to 5pm or bring a packed lunch)

Afternoon tea was created by the Duchess of Bedford in the late 18th century. She invited friends to join her for an afternoon meal of small cakes, bread and butter sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. The practice was so popular that it was quickly adopted by other social hostesses
