Free Entry
To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Burton Constable Hall opened a new exhibition: The East Riding Yeomanry, featuring Neil Hutty's extraordinary collection, generously loaned by Neil himself.
Now, join Neil Hutty in person for a special talk exploring the history of the East Riding Yeomanry, from its 18th-century cavalry beginnings through two world wars and beyond. With stories drawn from over 20 years of research, Neil’s talk will bring the regiment’s legacy to life.
This fascinating talk begins at 4pm, making it a perfect opportunity to stay on if you're already enjoying your day at Burton Constable Hall. Entry to the talk is completely free, offering a unique chance to understand the regiment's rich history.
Whether you’ve already explored the exhibition or plan to visit on the day, this talk offers a deeper look at the people, events and moments that shaped one of East Yorkshire’s most fascinating regiments.
If you’ve paid a Hall admission fee, you’re very welcome to stay on for the talk. If you’d prefer to come just for the talk, please arrive at the Admission Desk at least 15 minutes before the start time and make your way to the Hall from there.
