As a sculptor Peter works mainly in stone realising a finished piece by the process of direct carving. His work explores the relationships between the emotional, psychological and physical experience of the world around us. Exploring the limits of what we see, what we feel and how this has the potential to affect us.
Parallel to his work in his own studio, he works as an Art Psychotherapist with the registered charity ArttherapyYorkshire giving him the opportunity to share and explore the healing potential that art and art-making can offer to both adults and children who would not otherwise be able to access therapeutic support.
This exhibition is included in the normal admission charges.
