Roots and Routes
Exhibition
Tue 5th January 2027 to Sun 14th February 2027
Free Entry
An exhibition focussing on the local heritage, landscapes and stories that have brought us to this part of the world.
Many of us – directly or indirectly – have put down roots in East Yorkshire. This exhibition is a celebration of everything that has brought us to the region and influenced the roots we have laid down and nourished – metaphorically or literally! Whether we have come to the area by default, been drawn by its stunning open landscapes, found personal links in the local heritage, or literally created and found continuity through our timeless landscapes, we all have reason to celebrate the routes which have brought us here and the roots we have planted as a result.
Visiting the Gallery
The Stables Community Gallery is open daily from 10am and is free to visit. Located in the South Stable Courtyard, you’ll find it on the right-hand side as you walk through the first archway from the café. Everyone is welcome to explore the exhibition and enjoy the creative work on display in this accessible community space.
