Join us for an exclusive 'Behind the Scenes' tour of the Hall led by one of our expert guides and discover the cellars, attics, rooftops and everything else in-between!

Indulge in the latest exhibition and immerse yourselves in the fascinating history of Burton Constable Hall.

The ticket also includes access to our Grounds & Stables from 10am, plus a self-guided walk round the Hall, followed by a delicious homemade scone served with clotted cream, butter and jam and either tea or filter coffee served from the Stables Kitchen at 2.45pm.

There is also an option to upgrade to a full Afternoon Tea with tasty sweet and savoury treats.

Over 80 different species of birds have been spotted at Burton Constable, from the smallest British bird, the Goldcrest, to large birds of prey such as Buzzards and Barn Owls
Afternoon tea was created by the Duchess of Bedford in the late 18th century. She invited friends to join her for an afternoon meal of small cakes, bread and butter sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. The practice was so popular that it was quickly adopted by other social hostesses 

The Burton Constable Whale is featured in Herman Melville's famous novel Moby Dick. 

Today the Burton Constable Whale is nicknamed 'Constable Moby'
