A day for celebrating all that is special about the Yorkshire countryside at Burton Constable, a lovely day out for all the family!

Enjoy Pond Dipping & Bug Hunting, Children's Crafts & Storytelling, Face Painting, Orienteering, Search & Find with Burton Constable Ben & much more besides!

Take a walk in the Grounds with one of our expert guides and find out how we manage over 330 acres of Grade II listed Parkland with Dave Nassau, the Groundsman at Burton Constable with an exclusive talk in The Carriage House.

Face Painting £2 per person 11am-4pm

Children's Crafts 12pm-3pm

Search & Find with Burton Constable Ben 11am, 12pm & 1pm 

Storytelling 11.30am & 2pm

Parkland Tour 2pm - free with admission but spaces are limited please check with the Ticket Desk on arrival.

Audience with The Groundsman 3pm-3.45pm

All activities excluding the Face Painting are included with the normal admission.

Afternoon tea was created by the Duchess of Bedford in the late 18th century. She invited friends to join her for an afternoon meal of small cakes, bread and butter sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. The practice was so popular that it was quickly adopted by other social hostesses
