Winterlight: The Tudor Glow

Experience an enchanting outdoor journey of light, colour and Tudor wonder this December at Burton Constable Hall’s brand-new illuminated trail experience.

For the very first time, Winterlight: The Tudor Glow will transform the historic grounds and exterior of Burton Constable Hall into a spectacular open-air light trail inspired by the rich colours, grandeur and artistry of the Elizabethan era. Wander beneath illuminated trees, through glowing pathways and past beautifully lit architecture as the estate comes alive with gold, crimson, scarlet and royal purple.

Designed as an immersive outdoor evening experience, the trail uses the natural features of the landscape alongside the striking architecture of the hall to create magical moments for families, friends and visitors of all ages. From atmospheric lighting displays to dramatic projections and historic-inspired installations, Winterlight invites guests to explore the estate after dark like never before.

Enjoy warming food and drink throughout the evening as you explore the trail and soak up the atmosphere beneath the winter sky.

• Trail opens from 4:00pm each evening
• Timed entry sessions every 15 minutes
• Last entry session: 7:15pm
• Estimated trail closure: 9:00pm
