Opera North Whistle Stop Opera: Don Giovanni

If you haven’t ever been to a live opera and want to try a bite-sized version first, or you just fancy experiencing it right under your nose, then this Whistle Stop Opera set in the sumptuous surroundings of Burton Constable Hall is for you.

Discover Mozart’s timeless drama of seduction and death. Don Giovanni is the dark tale of a cruel man who lives life to the fullest regardless of the consequences. A cast of lively young singers and an accordionist reveal the story and the music in a live, interactive experience. 

Doors open at 7pm for performance at 7.30pm (welcome drink on arrival)

This unique evening of music and heritage includes an exclusive evening visit to Burton Constable Hall (after the performance) where you will discover impressive interiors and fine collections including the remarkable 18th century 'Cabinet of Curiosities',the newly restored Carved Room and the new Chippendale 300 exhibition:  ‘Chippendale and the Yorkshire Craftsmen’. 

There will be an opportunity to chat to the artists in a Q&A session after the 30 minute performance.
