The North-East Early Music Forum are guaranteed to delight visitors to the Hall with their performances of early music from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The Early Music Forum are a group of like-minded people who enjoy early music - including medieval, renaissance, baroque and early classical.

From 12pm to 3pm visitors will be able to listen to beautiful early music from soloists and small choirs as they make their way around the Hall.

Included with the normal admission charges.

Afternoon tea was created by the Duchess of Bedford in the late 18th century. She invited friends to join her for an afternoon meal of small cakes, bread and butter sandwiches, sweets and, of course, tea. The practice was so popular that it was quickly adopted by other social hostesses
