 Babies and Young Children

Because of the risk of accidents to babies and young children it is not possible to take large prams, pushchairs or baby back carriers around the house and these must be left in the entrance hall.  Front slings are permitted and these along with reins for toddlers are available for loan from the entrance hall.

The Grounds

Giant garden games and a croquet set are free to use on the Orangery Lawn and the large grass area in front of the stables and tea room can be used for ball games.  Croquet equipment can be collected from the Tea Room for a returnable £10 deposit.

Parkland Experience

The Parkland Experience pack can be borrowed for a returnable £5 deposit.  This pack is designed to help families get the most out of the parkland walks and the grounds.  The pack includes a map, compass, magnifying glass, bug collector and binoculars

Toilet and Baby Changing Facilities

All toilet facilities can be found in the stable courtyard, unfortunately there are no public toilets in the house
