A Celebration in Art at Burton Constable Hall - organised by the Friends of Burton Constable
The historic Burton Constable Hall & Grounds will be hosting a one-day event and will be tutored by a local award winning artist; Gail E. Hurst. With a focus on sketching, drawing, painting, Gail specialises in working with both total beginners and the more experienced artist.
To be held on Tuesday, 9 July 2024. 10am - 4pm

All materials are provided.
The workshop consists of a morning session commencing at 10am. Weather permitting this may include a walk around the grounds for inspiration, discussion and a tutorial.
A break for lunch at 12pm, then back indoors for an understanding of how to start and develop your own painting vocabulary, composition, experimentation, decision making, pick up new tricks and network with other creatives, all whilst having fun.
The Stables Cafe is open for snacks, lunches etc. alternatively you may bring your own packed lunch. A plentiful supply of tea and coffee is included.
The work shop is open to adults 16+ regardless of experience. Beginners are welcome. Wheelchair accessible.
